“The work of love in remembering one who is dead is a work of the utmost unselfish love”
--
Danish philosopher Søren Kierkegaard
It can be a very poignant and moving experience when you find for the first time the location where an ancestor is interred or when you visit the grave of a more recently departed loved one. Memories are brought to mind as you reflect on your experiences with, or what you have researched about the person(s).
At that point wouldn’t it be exciting if you had available to you some details of that person’s life right there at the site? Even more rewarding would be for you to share your knowledge to the benefit of those who follow.
The purpose of Stories in Stone is to make this sharing possible and easy.
